This study aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes of volleyball passing through the implementation of cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT) in class X.3 of SMA Karya Wisata Singaraja in the academic year 2015/2016. This research is a classroom action research, which was done in two cycles. The subjects were X.3 students in SMA Karya Wisata Singaraja, in total there are 30 students, which are 15 men and 15 women. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the data analysis from Cycle I learning activity of the basic techniques in classical volleyball passing was 7.68% (active), and in the cycle II was classically 9.0% (active). From the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 1.32%. While mastery of the learning outcomes in classical volleyball passing in the first cycle was 26.66% and the second cycle in the classical style was 100%. From the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 73.34%. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the activities and achievement of the basic passing techniques of volleyball improved through the implementation of cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT) in class X.3 of SMA Karya Wisata Singaraja in the academic year 2015/2016. It is, therefore, recommended to the teachers of Penjasorkes in order to implementation cooperative learning model NHT because it has been shown that it enhanced the activity and results of students’ learning of the basic passing techniques in volleyball.
