IMPLEMENTASI KOOPERATIF NHT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR TEKNIK PASSING BASKET

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar passing bola basket melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT pada siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 3 Tampaksiring tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Data dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitiannya berdasarkan analisis data adalah, pada siklus I aktivitas belajar siswa secara klasikal berada pada kategori aktif, yaitu 7,04 dengan persentase 70,45% (31 siswa) dan hasil belajar secara klasikal adalah 72,73% (32 siswa) berada pada kategori baik. Pada siklus II aktivitas belajar siswa secara klasikal berada pada kategori aktif, yaitu 7,50 dengan persentase 93,18 (41 siswa) dan hasil belajar secara klasikal adalah 95,45% (42 siswa) berada pada kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan data tersebut, dapat dinyatakan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar sebesar 0,46 dan hasil belajar 22,72 dari siklus I ke siklus IIBerdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar passing bola basket meningkat melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT pada siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 3 Tampaksirng tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Disarankan kepada guru penjasorkes untuk mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT karena dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar passing bola basket pada siswa.
Abstract: This study aims to improve the activity and results of learning the basic techniques of basketball passing through the implementation of cooperative learning model NHT type. This study classified as class action research conducted in two cycles. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of analysis of learning activities basketball passing techniques has increased by 0.46 from 7.04 to 7.50 in the first cycle to the second cycle in which classified the active category. As for the learning outcomes increased by 22,72% from 72,73% in the first cycle to 95,45% in the second cycle are classified as category which is very good. Based on the data analysis and discussion, it is concluded that the activity and the results of learning the basic techniques of passing basketball (chest pass and bounce pass) increased through the implementation of cooperative learning model NHT type VIII A grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Tampaksiring school year 2012/2013. It is recommended to teachers of physical education, sport and health can use cooperative learning model NHT type, as shown to enhance the activity and learning outcomes basketball passing techniques.
