Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar berguling senam lantai melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kontekstual pada siswa kelas VIII A10 SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2013/2014.Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian tindakan kelas dengan peneliti sebagai guru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII A10 SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja yang berjumlah 24 siswa terdiri dari 12 putra dan 12 putri. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif.Berdasarkan analisis data hasil penelitian aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar berguling senam lantai mengalami peningkatan sebesar 7 orang dari 11orang observasi awal menjadi menjadi 18 orang siklus I dan 6 orang dari 18 siklus I menjadi 24 siklus II. Ketuntasan hasil belajar teknik dasar berguling senam lantai meningkat sebesar 7 orang (29%) dari 6 orang (25%) observasi awal menjadi 13 orang (54%) siklus I, dan 7 orang (29%) dari 13 orang (54%) siklus I menjadi 20 orang (83%) siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar teknik dasar berguling senam lantai meningkat melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kontekstual pada siswa kelas VIII A10 SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Jadi disarankan kepada guru penjasorkes untuk dapat mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran kontekstual dalam pembelajaran teknik dasar berguling senam lantai.Kata Kunci : kontekstual, aktivitas, hasil belajar, berguling senam lantai.
This study is aimed at improving students’ activity and their learning result of roll technique (foward roll dan back roll) in gymnastic floor. The technique was application through contextual learning method of VIII A 10 Class in SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja academic year in 2013/2014. This research is a class action research in which the teacher’s role as the researcher within two cycles. The subject was 24 students of VIII A10 SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja consisting 12 girls and 12 boys. The data was analyzed using statistic descriptive method. The activity result using classical technique was 7 people from 11 people the first observation became 18 people of the fisrt cyrcle and 6 people as it increased from 18 people in the first cycles became 24 orang in second cyclye. Meanwhile, the first cycles showed 7 people (29%) from 6 people (25%) in first observation became 13 people (54%) in first cycle as the result of learning. And 7people (29%) from 13 people (54%) in first cycle became 20 people (83%) in second cycle. It can be concluded that the students’ ability in learning roll technique gymnastic floor was improved through the application of contextual learning method. It was suggested to the teacher to application the method as it resulted in improving students’ activity and learning result of roll technique in gymnastic floor..
