PENERAPAN MODEL KOOPERATIF TPS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR PASSING BOLA BASKET

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar passing bola basket melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share pada siswa kelas VIII D SMP Negeri 7 Singaraja. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan guru sebagai peneliti. Dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi/evaluasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII D SMP Negeri 7 Singaraja berjumlah 21, terdiri dari 10 orang putra dan 11 orang putri. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data untuk aktivitas belajar passing bola basket pada observasi awal 5,42 (cukup aktif), dan pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 6,14 (cukup aktif) dan 8,5 (aktif) pada siklus II. Sedangkan persentase hasil belajar passing bola basket dari observasi awal sebesar 62,84 (kurang baik), pada siklus I 77,23% (cukup baik) dan 86,76% ( baik) pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar passing bola basket meningkat melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share pada siswa kelas VIII D SMP Negeri 7 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : kooperatif, aktivitas, hasil belajar, bolabasket.
This research aimed at increasing the activity and students’ ability in basketball passing through Think Pair Share as cooperative method at D class of eight grade at SMP 7 Singaraja. This research was an classroom action based research with teacher as a researcher. This was held in 2 cycles that were consist of planning stage, action stage, observation stage and reflection stage. The subject of this study was students of D class of eight grade at SMPN 7 Singaraja and consisted of 21 students. There were 10 male students and 11 female students. The analysis data used was descriptive statistic. Based on the result of analysis for activity in studying basketball passing, at the beginning observation the result was 5.42 (active enogh) and at the first cycle the result increased, that became 6.14 (active enough) and 8.5 (active) at the second cycle. Whereas, precentage of study result in basketball passing from the beginning observation was 62.84 % (less good), at the first cycle was 77.23% (good enough) and 86.76 % (good) at the second cycle.Based on the data analysis and discussion , it was concluded that activity and result of studying basketball passing increased through the implementation of Think Pair Share as cooperative learning at D class of the eight grade students of SMPN 7 Singaraja in academic year 2012/2014.
