ABSTRACT This study aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes volleyball passing through the implementation of cooperative learning model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) on grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sukasada X.2 academic year 2015/2016. This study is a class action, the teacher as researcher. This research was conducted as many as two cycles, which consists of a plan of action, action, observation / evaluation and reflection. The subjects were X.2 grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sukasada, number 21, which is 10 boy and 11 girls. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of data analysis in the first cycle of learning activity in classical volleyball passing was 7.5 (active), and the second cycle in the classical 8.3 (active). From the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 0.8. While the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes in classical volleyball passing the first cycle of 33.3% and the second cycle in the classical style of 100%. From the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 66.7%. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the activities and achievement of passing a volleyball improved through the implementation of cooperative learning model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) on grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sukasada X.2 academic year 2015/2016. It is therefore recommended to teachers Penjasorkes order to implement this model because it is proven to increase activity and learning outcomes passing volleyball.
