PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PICTURE AND PICTURE MELALUI MEDIA GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA PADA ANAK TAMAN KANAK-KANAK

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui adanya peningkatan pada kegiatan berbicara anak Taman kanak-kanak pada kelompok A di Taman Kanak-kanak Titi Dharma Denpasar Kecamatan Denpasar Utara dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran picture and picture dengan bantuan media gambar. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan sampel 20 orang anak yang berusia 4-5 tahun kelompok A semester II Tahun pelajaran 2012 / 2013. Hasil penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan mengunakan metode observasi. Penelitian ini dianalisis mengunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berbicara dengan penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture dengan menggunakan media gambar pada siklus I sebesar 61,6 yang berada pada katagori sangat rendah dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 95,2 yang tergolong pada katagori sangat aktif atau tinggi.

ABSTRACT
This study is done to identify whether there an improvement on speaking competency of kindergarten students in group A in Taman Kanak – Kanak Titi Dharma Denpasar - Denpasar Utara District by applying learning model Picture and Picture with pictures media. This is an action based research was done in two cycles by using 20 children in group A semester II in academic year 2012/2013. They are about 4 – 5 years old. The result of this research was gained by using observation method, which thenanalyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis. The research’ result shows that there is an improvement of students speaking competency through the application of Picture and Picture with pictures media. The result in cycle 1 is 61,1 which is categorized as very low, and there is improvement in cycle II become 95,2 which is categorized as very active or high.
