I singaraja semester I tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. I singaraja Semester I tahun pelajaran 2017/2018.
This study aims to determine the difference between the project method with conventional methods on the ability to recognize geometric shapes in group B group I singaraja semester I of the academic year 2017/2018. This study included quasi-experimental research using post-test only control group design. The population in this study were all students of group B group I Singaraja in academic year 2017/2018 which amounted to 277 people. The sample in this research is group B TK Satya Kumara which amounted to 30 children as experiment group and Group B of TK Varistha Kids which amounted to 27 children as control group. Data of research result collected by observation method. From the results of normality and homogeneity test of variance, it is known that the samples are normally distributed and homogeneous variants are then to test the hypothesis used t test with 5% significance level. The result of t-test calculation is found sig. (2-tailedd) that is 0.000 <0.05. These results indicate that there is a difference between the project method and the conventional method on the ability to recognize geometric shapes in group B group I singaraja Semester I of the lesson year 2017/2018. The existence of significant differences indicates that the project method positively affects the ability to recognize geometric shapes.
