PENERAPAN METODE BERMAIN BERBANTUAN MEDIA PUZZLE ANGKA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOGNITIF DALAM PENGENALAN BILANGAN

Permasalahan yang terdapat pada penelitian ini mengenai rendahnya perkembangan kognitif dalam pengenalan lambang bilangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kognitif dalam pengenalan bilangan setelah diterapkan metode bermain berbantuan media puzzle angka pada anak kelompok B1 semester II di TK Kemala Bayangkari 5 Klungkung Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 orang anak TK pada kelompok B1 Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Data penelitian tentang kognitif dalam pengenalan bilangan dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa pedoman observasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kognitif dalam pengenalan bilangan dengan penerapan metode bermain pada siklus I sebesar 70,5%% yang berada pada kategori sedang ternyata mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 87,16% yang tergolong pada kategori tinggi. Jadi terdapat peningkatan kognitif dalam pengenalan bilangan pada anak setelah diterapkan metode bermain berbantuan media puzzle angka sebesar 16,66%.Kata Kunci : metode bermain, media puzzle angka, kognitif.
The issues contained in the study on cognitive in numbers emblem introduction. The purpose of this research was to study the improvement within cognitive in the introduction of numbers after the application of the playing method using the number puzzle media to the B1 group children during the second semester or the academic year 2013/2014 in TK Kemala Bayangkari 5 Klungkung. This type of study is a classroom action-based research which was carried out in two cycles with 15 children as the subjects during the second semester or the academic 2013/2014. The data on the cognitive in the introduction of numbers were collected by observation method with observation forms as the instrument. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis method and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The result of the data analysis shows that there was 70,5% improvement for the cognitive in the introduction of numbers with the application of the playing method in the first cycle, which can be categorized as average. An improvement into 87,16% was also found in the second cycle which can be categorized as high. Therefore, improvement for the cognitive in the introduction of numbers puzzle media there was 16,66%.
