PENERAPAN METODE PROYEK MELALUI KEGIATAN BERMAIN BERSAMA BERBANTUAN MEDIA SEDERHANA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERKEMBANGAN SOSIAL-EMOSIONAL DI TK DHARMAPATNI DENPASAR BARAT

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan perkembangan sosial-emosional pada anak kelompok B di TK Dharmapatni Denpasar Barat dengan menerapkan metode proyek melalui kegiatan bermain bersama berbantuan media sederhana. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 18 orang anak, yang terdiri dari 8 orang anak laki-laki, dan 10 orang anak perempuan pada kelompok B di TK Dharmapatni Denpasar Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Data penelitian tentang perkembangan sosial-emosional dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dengan instrument berupa lembar format observasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis statistik kuantitatif. hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan perkembangan sosial-emosional dengan penerapan metode proyek melalui kegiatan bermain bersama berbantuan media sederhana pada siklus I sebesar 62,27% yang berada pada kategori rendah ternyata mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 80,94% tergolong pada kategori tinggi. Jadi, terjadi peningkatan perkembangan sosial-emosional pada anak sebesar 18,67%.Kata Kunci : metode proyek, bermain bersama, media sederhana, perkembangan sosial emosional.
This research aimed to know about the social-emotion development of the B group students kindergarten Dharmapatni West Denpasar by applying the project method through cooperative games activities helped by simple media. This research is classromm action research which consisted of two cycles. The subject of the research was 18 students, consist of 8 boys and 10 girls in group B kindergaten Dharmapatni West Denpasar in the academic year of 2013/2014. The collected data in the research used observation research with observation format an instrument. The result of the data research is analized by using descriptive statistic analysis method and quantitative statistic analysis method. From the result of the data analysis, it can be concluded that have increasing that social-emotion development of group B students kindergarten Dharmapatni West Denpasar by applying the project method through cooperative games activities helped by simple media in cycle one is 62,27% which is included in low category but in cycle two the students ability increased become 80,94% which is included in high category. So the social-emotion development of the students increased 18,67%.
