PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD BERBANTUAN MEDIA KARTU ANGKA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif setelah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) berbantuan media kartu angka untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif pada anak kelompok A semester II tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 di TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi/evaluasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 14 orang anak kelompok A Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014 di TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja. Data tentang hasil belajar dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) berbantuan media kartu angka untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif pada anak kelompok A semester II tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 di TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja. Hal ini dapat dilihat adanya peningkatan rerata hasil belajar anak pada siklus I adalah 65,66% yang berada pada kategori sedang, rerata hasil belajar pada siklus II sebesar 85,66% dengan kriteria tinggi.Kata Kunci : Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD), media kartu angka, kemampuan kognitif
The research has aim to know the improvement of cognitive competency after applying the cooperative learning model Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) with media number card to improve cognitive competency by A group students of TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja on second semester in academic year 2013/2014. The kind of this research is classroom action research which is done on two circles. Each circle contain with planning, applying, observation/evaluation and reflection. The subjects of the study are 14 students of A group on second semester of TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja in academic year 2013/2014. The data collection in this research is collected by observation method. After collecting the data, the data is analyzed using descriptive statistic and descriptive quantitative analysis method. The result of the study shows that cooperative learning model Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) with media number card can improve cognitive competency by A group students of TK Kartika VII-3 Singaraja on second semester in academic year 2013/2014. It shows that there is improvement on the average of students’ learning output in first circle is 65, 66% in medium category and in second circle is 85, 66% in high category.
