PENARAPAN METODE BERCERITA BERBANTUAN MEDIA GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berbicara anak setelah diterapkannya metode bercerita pada anak Kelompok B PAUD Widya Sesana Sangsit Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak Kelompok B PAUD Widya Sesana Sangsit yang berjumlah 9 orang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, terdiri atas 6 kali pertemuan dalam 1 siklus. Setiap pertemuan secara berbaur mulai perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi. Observasi merupakan penilaian dengan mengamati secara langsung serta mendokumentasikan hal-hal penting yang terjadi dalam penelitian. Dalam penelitian ini data yang dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan metode bercerita dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara pada anak kelompok B PAUD Widya Sesana Sangsit Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Keterampilan berbicara anak meningkat secara signifikan. Kemampuan berbicara anak meningkat dari siklus I sebesar 62,22% menjadi 80,00% pada siklus II.Kata Kunci : metode bercerita, dan keterampilan berbicara.
Abstract This study aims to determine the child's speaking skills improvement after the implementation of children's storytelling in Group B ECD Widya Sesana Sangsit Academic Year 2013/2014 . The subjects were children Kindergarten Group B Widya Sesana Sangsit totaling 9 people . This study is a classroom action research ( CAR), which was conducted in two cycles , consisting of 6 meetings in one cycle . Each blend meetings from planning , implementation , observation and reflection . Techniques to collect data in this study through observation . Observation is an assessment by directly observing and documenting important things that happened in the study . In this study data was collected through observation sheet . Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques . The results suggest the application of storytelling can improve speaking skills in group B children ECD Widya Sesana Sangsit Academic Year 2013/2014 . Child speaking skills improved significantly . The ability to speak the child increased from the first cycle of 62.22 % to 80.00 % in the second cycle .
