Penerapan Metode Bermain Peran Berbantuan Media Wayang untuk Meningkatkan Perkembangan Sosial Emosional Anak Kelompok B2 TK Kumara Jaya Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perkembangan sosial emosional anak melalui penerapan metode bermain peran berbantuan media wayang pada kelompok B2 TK Kumara Jaya Denpasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 orang anak kelompok B2 TK Kumara Jaya Denpasar. Data penelitian tentang perkembangan sosial emosional anak dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi dengan instrumen lembar observasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif.Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata persentase perkembangan sosial emosional pada siklus I sebesar 56,2% yang berada pada kreteria rendah dan pada siklus II menjadi 82,7% tergolong kriteria tinggi. Dengan demikian terjadi peningkatan di dalam perkembangan sosial emosional anak sebesar 26,5%. Simpulannya penerapan metode bermain peran berbantuan media wayang dapat meningkatkan perkembangan sosial emosional anak kelompok B2 TK Kumara Jaya Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci : Kata-kata kunci: bermain peran, wayang, sosial emosional.
This research aims to improve the social emotional development of childrens through applying role play method assisted media puppets on group’s B2 TK Kumara Jaya Denpasar. The type of this research is classroom action research. Conducted in 2 cycles. Research subject is 20 childrens of group’s B2 TK Kumara Jaya Denpasar. Research data on the social emotional development childrens collected using observation method with observation sheet instrument. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis method and quantitative descriptive analysis. Data analysis showed that the mean score percentage development of social emotional in cycle I at 56,2% which is at the low criteria and the cycle II becomes 82,7% relatively high criteria. This an increase in the development of social emotional childrens at 26,5%. The application of role play method assisted media puppets can improve the development of social emotional childrens group’s B2 TK Kumara Jaya Denpasar in academic year 2014/2015.
