PENERAPAN METODE DEMONSTRASI MELALUI PERMAINAN TRADISIONAL ENGKLEK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERKEMBANGAN MOTORIK KASAR ANAK KELOMPOK B2 SEMESTER II TK WIDYA SANTHI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perkembangan motorik kasar setelah diterapkannya metode demonstrasi melalui permainan tradisional engklek pada anak kelompok B2 semester II di TK Widya Santhi tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 26 anak yang terdiri dari 10 orang putra dan 16 orang putri pada kelompok B2 tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Data penelitian tentang perkembangan motorik kasar dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar observasi dan metode wawancara dengan instrumen lembar wawancara. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan motorik kasar dengan penerapan metode demonstrasi melalui permainan tradisional engklek sebesar 61.34% yang berada pada kategori rendah, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 84% dengan kategori tinggi. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi melalui permainan tradisional engklek dapat meningkatkan perkembangan motorik kasar pada anak sebesar 22.66%.Kata Kunci : metode demonstrasi, engklek, motorik kasar
This research aims to improve gross motor development after the implementation of demonstration methods through traditional hopscotch game in the second half B2 group of children in kindergarten Widya Santhi academic year 2014/2015. This type of research is a classroom action research (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 26 children consisting of 10 sons and 16 daughters in the group B2 academic year 2014/2015. The research data on gross motor development were collected through observation with instruments and methods such as observation sheets interview with interview sheet instruments. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods and quantitative analysis. Results of the study in the first cycle showed that gross motor development with the application of traditional methods of demonstration through play hopscotch at 61.34%, which is at the low category, increased in the second cycle to 84% in the high category. So it can be concluded that by applying the method of demonstration via traditional hopscotch game can improve gross motor development in children amounted to 22.66%.
