PENERAPAN METODE PROBLEM SOLVING BERBANTUAN MEDIA MAZE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERKEMBANGAN KOGNITIF ANAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif setelah diterapkan metode problem solving berbantuan media maze pada anak kelompok B semester II tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 di TK Çudha Çrama Singaraja. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 24 anak TK pada kelompok B Semester II tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Data tentang kemampuan kognitif anak kelompok B diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode problem solving. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kognitif pada siklus I sebesar 78,1% yang berada pada kategori sedang dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi sebesar 83,01% berada pada kategori tinggi.Kata Kunci : metode Problem Solving, peningkatan kemampuan kognitif, media maze
This study aims to determine the increase in cognitive ability after application of media -assisted method of problem solving maze for children Group B 2014/2015 second semester of lessons in kindergarten Çudha Crama Singaraja . This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles . The subjects were 24 kindergarten children in group B the second semester of the school year 2014/2015 . Data about the cognitive abilities of children in group B was obtained by using the method of problem solving . Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics . Results of the data analysis showed that an increase in cognitive ability in the first cycle of 78.1 %, which is the medium category and the second cycle increased to 83.01 % at the high category .
