PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ROLE PLAYING BERBANTUAN MEDIA WAYANG UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA PADA ANAK

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan kemampuan berbicara pada anak kelompok B2 semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 di TK Kumara Adi I Denpasar setelah penerapan model pembelajaran role playing berbantuan media wayang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah 21 orang anak TK Kumara Adi I Denpasar pada kelompok B2 semester II tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Data penelitian tentang kemampuan berbicara dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar format observasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata skor kemampuan berbicara pada anak kelompok B2 setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran role playing berbantuan media wayang pada siklus I sebesar 72,15% yang berada pada kategori sedang dan pada siklus II menjadi 84,25% tergolong pada kategori tinggi. Jadi terjadi peningkatan kemampuan berbicara anak setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran role playing berbantuan media wayang sebesar 12,10%.

This research is aim to know about the development of speak ability of the children in class B2 in the second semester of Academic Year 2015/2016 in Kumara Adi I Kindergarten Denpasar district after applied the role playing learning model with puppet media. This research was a Classroom Action Research which conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this research were the 21 kindergarten students in group B2 at the second semester in the academic year 2015/2016. The data was collected by using observation method. The instrument used was observation form. The data was collected and analyzed by using descrptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive. The result of data analysis showed that average score of students speak ability in group B2 increased after implementing role playing learning model supported by puppet media as many as 72,15% at the first cycle and was categorized as moderate category. At the second cycle it increased into 84,25% and was categorized as high category. It could be concluded, that there is an improvement at the speak ability after the implementation of role playing learning model supported by puppet media as many as 12,10%.
