PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBING-PROMPTING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI SISWA KELAS XI IPS-1 SMA NEGERI 3 SINGARAJA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa, (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dan (3) tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran probing-prompting. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS-1 SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja berjumlah 37 siswa. Data mengenai aktivitas belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi, data mengenai hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode tes, sedangkan data mengenai tanggapan siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode kuisioner. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) pada siklus I, aktivitas belajar siswa berada pada kategori cukup aktif dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 7,84 dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 66,62. (2) Pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa. Dimana pada siklus ini diperoleh nilai rata-rata aktivitas sebesar 9,98 pada kategori aktif dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 82,30. (3) Tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran probing-prompting diperoleh skor rata-rata tanggapan siswa sebesar 46,25 dengan kategori sangat positif.

This research is aimed at (1) enhancing students learning activity, (2) enhancing students study result, and (3) students response toward the implementation of probing-prompting. This study was classroom action research which was done in two cycles. The subject of this study was the students in grade 11th of Social-Science 1 class with the total number of students was 37 students. The data of students learning activity were collected through observation method and the data of studdents study result were collected through test method. However, the sata of students response were collected through questioner method. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative analysis. The result of this study shows that (1) in cycle I, the students learning activity was in fairly active category with average score was 7,84 and the average score of students study result was 66,62. (2) In cycle II, there was enhancement of students learning activity where in this cycle was obtained the average score of activity was 9,98 in active category and the average score of students study result was 82,30. (3) The students response toward the implementation of probing-prompting learning model was obtained the average score of students response was 46,25 with very positive category.
