This study aims to determine (1) the effect of anaerobic interval training with work and rest rasio of 1:10 to the speed of 100 meter sprint, (2) the effect of anaerobic interval training with work and rest rasio of 1:20 to the speed of 100 meter sprint, (3) the difference effect of between the anaerobic interval training with work and rest rasio of 1:10 and 1:20 to the speed of 100 meter sprint. The subjects of this research were 36 students of athletic extracurricular SMP N 1 Mengwi. This research was an experimental study, with the modified group pre-test – post-test design. The data of 100 meter sprint speed was measured by a 100 meter sprint test. The data was analyzed using statistical calculations t-test at the 5% significance level. The results of this study are (1) the anaerobic interval training with work and rest rasio of 1:10 affected to the speed of 100 meter sprint, with result thit = 11,18 > ttab = 2.042, (2) the anaerobic interval training with work and rest rasio of 1:20 affected to the speed of 100 meter sprint, with result thit = 32,11 > ttab = 2.042, (3) there was difference effect of between the anaerobic interval training with work and rest rasio of 1:10 and 1:20 to the speed of 100 meter sprint, with result thit = 5.04 > ttab = 2.042. The anaerobic interval training with work and rest rasio of 1:20 gives a better effect than the anaerobic interval training with work and rest rasio of 1:10 to the speed of 100 meter sprint, seen from the average result of the anaerobic interval training with work and rest rasio 1:20 is 15,32 and the anaerobic interval training with work and rest rasio 1:10 is 15,74.
