Abstract

Leadership is an important factor that drives, directs, and coordinates various other factors within an organization. The definition of leadership is related to individual characteristics, behavior, influence on others, patterns of interaction, role relationships, position in an administrative position, and others' perceptions of the legitimacy of influence. In order to achieve organizational goals, appropriate strategies are needed to create effective leaders who have competence, commitment, and integrity. The purpose of this research is to understand the concept of leadership in Class II B prison in Cilacap and analyze the magnitude of the influence of leadership on employee discipline. This research is conducted through observation of data in the field, recording data directly from objects to obtain concrete and clear data. Documentation used to search for data includes notes and books
