PENGARUH DEBT TO EQUITY RATIO DAN RETURN ON EQUITY TERHADAP RETURN SAHAM PADA PERUSAHAAN SUB SEKTOR TRANSPORTASI YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh temuan eksplanatif yang teruji tentang (1) pengaruh Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) dan Return on Equity (ROE) terhadap return saham, (2) pengaruh DER terhadap return saham, (3) pengaruh ROE terhadap return saham. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif kausal. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Perusahaan sub sektor transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia 2014 - 2015, dan objek penelitian adalah DER, ROE, dan return saham. Data dikumpulkan dengan pencatatan dokumen, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi liniear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) DER dan ROE berpengaruh signifikan terhadap return saham sebesar 34,6%, (2) DER berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap return saham sebesar -31,7%, (3) ROE berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap return saham sebesar 34,6%.

The purpose of this research to obtain explanative findings about (1) the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Return on Equity (ROE) toward stock return, (2) the effect of DER toward stock return, (3) the effect of ROE towards stock return. The research design used in this research is quantitative causal. The subject of this research was The Company sub sector Transportation company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014 - 2015, and the object of this research were DER, ROE, and stock return. The data was obtained by documentation technique, and then it’s analyzed using regression analysis. The result of this research shows that (1) DER and ROE had significant effect to the stock return amounted 34,6%, (2) the variable of DER had negative significant effect to the stock return amounted -31,7%, (3) the variable of ROE had positive significant effect to the stock return amounted 34,6%.
