Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the process of developing learning motion graphic animation video media and to describe the validity of developing learning motion graphics animation video media in social studies class VII subjects. This research is included in the type of development research using the ADDIE model as a guide in the development process. The methods used in collecting data in this study were questionnaires and tests. The results of the study (1) the process of developing instructional motion graphic animation video media includes five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. (2) The results of the validation test conducted by experts consisted of 1 learning content expert, 1 learning design expert, and 1 learning media expert as well as product trial subjects consisting of 3 students for individual trials and 6 students for small group trials. The results of the validity test of the learning motion graphic animation video media were declared valid based on: (a) The results of the review of learning content experts with good qualifications (75%). (b) The results of the review of learning design experts with very good qualifications (90%). (c) The results of the review of learning media experts with very good qualifications (92.85%). (d) Individual trial results with very good qualifications (91.36%). (e) and the results of the small group trials with very good qualifications (91.76%). Based on the results of this assessment, it can be concluded that the instructional motion graphic animation video media has very good qualifications and is feasible to be applied in the learning process in class VII social studies subjects.
