PENGEMBANGAN MODUL AJAR INTERAKTIF BERBASIS AUGMENTED REALITY UNTUK MATA PELAJARAN JARINGAN DASAR DI SMK NEGERI 3 SINGARAJA

Abstract


Abstrak— Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengimplementasikan modul ajar interaktif berbasis Augmented Reality untuk mata pelajaran Jaringan Dasar di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja. (2) mengetahui respon pengguna terhadap pengembangan modul ajar interaktif berbasis Augmented Reality untuk mata pelajaran Jaringan Dasar di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengembangan modul ajar interaktif berbasis Augmented Reality adalah Research and Development (R & D). Model yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Dick and Carey yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan desain pengembangan, dan pada tahap keempat Dick and Carey dalam pengembangan medianya menggunakan model Waterfall. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas X TKJ 1 SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap modul augmented reality diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode angket.
Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini berupa modul ajar interaktif untuk mata pelajaran Jaringan Dasar berbasis Augmented Reality yang dapat diinstal pada smartphone dan mampu menampilkan materi-materi jaringan dasar dalam bentuk 3D. Untuk pembuatan objek 3 dimensi digunakan Unity 3D, serta digunakan Vuforia sebagai software library untuk augmented reality. Respon pengguna terhadap pengembangan modul ajar interaktif berbasis Augmented Reality untuk mata pelajaran Jaringan Dasar di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja dapat dikategorikan sangat positif dengan persentase 91%.

Abstract--- This Research was aimed to: (1) implement “Augmented Reality-based Interactive teaching module” for Basic Network subject in SMK 3 Singaraja. (2) finding out user’s response to the development of “Augmented Reality-based Interactive teaching module” for Basic Network subject in SMK 3 Singaraja.
The method used in the development of Augmented Reality-based Interactive teaching module was Research and Development (R & D). The model used in this research was the development model by Dick and Carey which consists of 5 phases of development design. In addition, Dick and Carey used Waterfall model in the fourth phase of the media development. This research involved grade X of TKJ 1 in SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja in academic year 2014/2015. Students’ response toward the Augmented Reality-based Interactive teaching module were found out by using questionnaire method.
The result of this research was in form of Augmented Reality-based interactive teaching module for Basic Network subject which can be installed in Smart phone. It can also demonstrate learning materials for Basic Network subject in form of 3D. The production of 3D object was used unity 3D, Vuforia as software library for the augmented reality. The user’s response to the development of Augmented Reality-based interactive teaching module for Basic Network subject in SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja can be categorized as very positive which the presentage was 91%.
