Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengaruh pembukaan Pos Lintas Batas Negara (PLBN) Entikong terhadap kegiatan perdagangan lintas batas negara dalam kaitannya dengan pemenuhan kesejahteraan masyarakat, khususnya di Kecamatan Entikong.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum yang bersifat non-doktrinal dengan pendekatan socio-legal. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara yang bersifat terbuka serta data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan, selanjutnya data yang telah diperoleh dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembukaan PLBN Entikong beserta dengan segala fasilitas pelengkapnya dinilai oleh masyarakat di Kecamatan Entikong belum meningkatkan kesejahteraan mereka. Dengan potensi yang dimilikinya, wilayah perbatasan seperti Kecamatan Entikong sesungguhnya dapat menjadi kawasan perkembangan ekonomi sekaligus cikal bakal kota.
