PENERAPAN METODE BERCERITA DENGAN MEDIA GAMBAR SERI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BAHASA ANAK PADA KELOMPOK B2 DI TK WIDYA KUMARA SARI

Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan tentang rendahnya kemampuan bahasa anak kelompok B2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan bahasa anak TK pada kelompok B di TK Widya Kumara Sari dengan menerapkan metode bercerita dengan media gambar seri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi/evaluasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 orang anak usia TK pada kelompok B Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Data penelitian tentang kemampuan bahasa dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar format observasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan bahasa anak TK kelompok B di TK Widya Kumara Sari dalam bercerita dengan menggunakan media gambar seri. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari adanya peningkatan rerata pada siklus I sebesar 58,75% yang berada pada kategori rendah, dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 82,50% tergolong pada kategori tinggi. Jadi dapat disimpulkan adanya peningkatan sebesar 23,75% dalam perkembangan bahasa anak kelompok B semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013 di TK Widya Kumara Sari dengan menggunakan metode bercerita dengan media gambar seri.

Abstract
This present study raised concerns about the poor language skills of children in group B2. This study aims to determine the increase in kindergarten children's language skills in group B in kindergarten Widya Kumara Sari by applying the method of storytelling with media images series. This research is a classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of action planning, action, observation /evaluation and reflection. The subjects were 20 kindergarten age children in group B II Semester Academic Year 2012/2013. Data collected research on language skills by observation with instruments such as observation sheet format. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods and quantitative analysis. The results showed an increase in the child's language skills in kindergarten kindergarten group B Widya Kumara Sari media storytelling using picture series. It can be seen from the increase in the average in the first cycle of 58.75% which is in the low category, and has increased in the second cycle of 82.50% belong to the higher category. So we can conclude the existence of an increase of 23.75% in group B children's language development second semester of academic year 2012/2013 in Kindergarten Widya Kumara Sari by using the method of storytelling with media images series.
