PENERAPAN METODE DRILL BERBANTUAN MEDIA TANGRAM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERKEMBANGAN KOGNITIF ANAK KELOMPOK B2 DI TK PRADNYA PARAMITA

Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan tentang rendahnya perkembangan kognitif anak kelompok B2. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan perkembangan kognitif anak setelah diterapkan metode drill berbantuan media tangram pada kelompok B2 Semester II Tahun 2012/2013 di Taman Kanak-kanak Pradnya Paramita Penarungan Kecamatan Buleleng. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 anak TK pada kelompok B2 Semester II Tahun 2012/2013 di Taman Kanak-kanak Pradnya Paramita Penarungan Kecamatan Buleleng. Data penelitian tentang perkembangan kognitif anak dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dan instrumen berupa lembar observasi. Data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan perkembangan kognitif anak dengan penerapan metode drill melalui media tangram pada siklus I sebesar 57,80% yang berada pada kategori rendah, mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 79,25% tergolong pada kategori sedang. Jadi terjadi peningkatan perkembangan kognitif anak sebesar 21,45 %.

Abstract
This study raised concerns about the low of children's cognitive development group B2. The purpose of this study to determining the increase in children’s cognitive development after applied drill method assisted by tangram media of the students in group B2 of TK Pradnya Paramita Penarungan in the second semester of academic year 2012/2013. This study is a classroom action research that was conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 20 students of group B2 of TK Pradnya Paramita Penarungan in the second semester of academic year 2012/2013. Research data on the cognitive development of students gathered with observation and observation instrument sheet. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Results of data analysis showed that an increase in children's cognitive development with the adoption of drill method assisted by tangram media on the first cycle of 57.80% which is in the low category was experiencing an increase in cycle II to 79.25% belong to the medium category of being. So an increase in the cognitive development of children by 21.45%.
