Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan perkembangan bahasa setelah menerapkan model Make a Match dengan media kartu bergambar pada anak kelompok B TK Ganesha Denpasar, semester II tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 23 anak TK pada kelompok B semester II tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Data penelitian tentang peningkatan perkembangan bahasa menggunakan model Make a Match dengan instrument berupa lembar observasi. Data hasil penelitian menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriftif dan metode analisis deskriftif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan perkembangan bahasa anak kelompok B dengan media kartu bergambar pada siklus I sebesar 62,29% pada kategori rendah dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi sebesar 86,37% berada pada kategori tinggi. Jadi terjadi peningkatan perkembangan bahasa dengan media kartu bergambar sebesar 24,08%.

This study aims to determine the increase in language development after applying the model to Make a Match with a picture card media in children kindergarten group B Ganesha Denpasar, the second semester of academic year 2013/2014. This research is an action research conducted in two cycles. Subjects were 23 kindergarten children in group B the second semester of academic year 2013/2014. Research data on the increase in language development using models Make a Match with instruments such as the observation sheet. Research data using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of the data analysis showed that an increase in the development of children's language media group B with picture cards on the first cycle of 62.29% in the low category and the second cycle increased to 86.37% in the high category. So an increase in language development with a picture card media at 24.08%
