Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak kelompok A semester II tahun ajaran 2013/2014 di TK Widia Kumara Padangbulia setelah di terapkannya metode Drill berbantuan media kotak pancing. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian merupakan anak kelompok A semester II tahun ajaran 2013/2014 di TK Widia Kumara Padangbulia dengan jumlah subjek 15 orang. Penelitian di lakukan dalam dua siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan metode analisis data yaitu metode analisi data statistic deskriptif dan metode statistik deskriptif kuantitatif.Hasil analisis data dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak pada siklus I yaitu sebesar 67,30% dengan kriteria sedang, menjadi 83,00% pada siklus II dengan kriteria tinggi.

This research aimed to learn increase cognitive ability children in group A in second semester of academic year 2013/2014 at TK Widia Kumara Padangbulia after implementing of drill method receive fishing box media. This research was an action research. The subject in this research was the 15 subject in group A in second semester of academic year 2013/2014 at TK Widia Kumara Padangbulia. Research was done in two cycles, which were first cycle and second cycle. The method used in this research was observation method and data analysis method, which are data statistics descriptive analysis method and statistic descriptive quantitative method. The result of the analysis showed that there is increasing cognitive ability toward children in the first cycle, which was from 67,30% and belongs to standard category became into 83,00% in the second cycle and belongs to high category.
