PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN Think Pair Share (TPS) BERBANTUAN MEDIA AUDIO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF ANAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal bentuk dan warna geometri setelah diterapkan pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) berbantuan media audio. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 24 anak TK Dharma Kumara Patemon kelompok B1 semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Data penelitian tentang kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal bentuk dan warna geometri dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar format observasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata skor kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal bentuk dan warna geometri pada anak kelompok B1 setelah diterapkan pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media audio pada siklus I sebesar 67,5% yang berada pada katagori sedang kemudian pada siklus II menjadi 81,5% tergolong pada katagori tinggi. Jadi terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal bentuk dan warna geometri anak setelah diterapkan pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media audio sebesar 14%.Kata Kunci : Media Audio, Pembelajaran Think Pair Share,Kemampuan Kognitif
This study aims to determine the increase in cognitive ability to recognize shapes and colors applied geometry after learning Think Pair share models assisted audio. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Subjects were 24 children of TK Dharma Kumara Patemon group B1 at second semester of academic year 2014-2015. Data research on cognitive abilities in recognizing geometric shapes and colors collected using observations with instrument in the form of observation sheet format. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descritiptive analysis method. The result showed that an increase in the average scores in the cognitive ability to recognize shapes colors geometry in children after the B1 group applied learning model Think pair share audio media aided in the first cycle of 67.5% which is in the category were then on the second cycle becomes 81.5% classified in the high category. So there was an increase in cognitive ability to recognize shapes and colors applied geometry child after learning model Think pair share audio media aided by 14%.
