PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PICTURE AND PICTURE BERBANTUAN MEDIA PAPAN MAGNET UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERKEMBANGAN KOGNITIF PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B4 SEMESTER II PAUD KUSUMA 2 DENPASAR BARAT TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan perkembangan kognitif anak setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media papan magnet pada anak kelompok B4 semester II di PAUD Kusuma 2 Denpasar Barat tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B4 semester II dengan jumlah 19 anak, yang terdiri dari 8 perempuan dan 11 laki-laki. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah perkembangan kognitif anak dan data tentang perkembangan kognitif pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen yang berupa lembar observasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan perkembangan kognitif dengan penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media papan magnet diperoleh rata-rata pada siklus I M% = 60,84% yang berada pada kriteria rendah mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II M% = 88,34% tergolong kriteria tinggi. Hal tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan persentase rata-rata perkembangan kognitif anak dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 27,5%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media papan magnet dapat meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif pada anak kelompok B4 PAUD Kusuma 2 Denpasar Barat Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci : model picture and picture, media papan magnet, perkembangan kognitif.
This research aimed to determine the improvement of children’s cognitive development after applicating picture and picture learning assisted with magnetic board media group B4 children in second semester at PAUD Kusuma 2 West Denpasar academic year 2014/2015. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Subjects in this study were the 19 children in group B4 in second semester, consisting of 8 women and 11 men. The object of this research was children’s cognitive development and the data of cognitive development in this study were collected by using an instrument such as observation sheet. Data analysis method that be used in this research was descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The result showed improvement on cognitive development by applicating picture and picture learning model assisted with magnetic board media, the average on first cycle reaches M% = 60.84% which is at the low criteria increases on the second cycle M% = 88.34% which at high criteria. This shows an improvement in the average percentage of children’s cognitive development from the first cycle to second cycle is 27.5%. It can be concluded that the application of picture and picture learning model assisted with magnetic board media can improve children's cognitive development in early childhood B4 group Kusuma 2 West Denpasar Academic Year 2014/2015.
