PENERAPAN MODEL TGT BERBANTUAN MEDIA KARTU KATA BERGAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERKEMBANGAN BAHASA ANAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament berbantuan media kartu kata bergambar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok B2 TK Widya Santhi Denpasar tahun pelajaran 2015/2016, sebanyak 23 anak terdiri dari 11 anak laki-laki dan 12 anak perempuan. Objek penelitian adalah perkembangan bahasa anak. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar observasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menujukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata skor perkembangan bahasa anak setelah penerapan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament berbantuan media kartu kata bergambar pada siklus I sebesar 69,25% yang berada pada kategori sedang, dan pada siklus II menjadi 83,93% yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Teams Games Tournament berbantuan media kartu kata bergambar dapat meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa anak sebesar 14,68%.Kata Kunci : TGT, kartu kata bergambar, bahasa
This study was aimed to determine the increase of the language development after applying the Teams Games Tournament learning model aided by pictorial word card media. This research was using the classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The subjects were children in group B2 Widya Santhi Kindergarten Denpasar in the academic year 2015/2016, as many as 23 children, consisting of 11 boys and 12 girls. The collecting data was carried out by using observation method by instrument in the form of observation sheet. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive method. The results of the data analysis showed that the increase of the average score of children's language development after the implementation of Teams Games Tournament learning model which was aided by pictorial word card in the first cycle was 69.25%, which was in the medium category, and the second cycle became 83.93% which was in high category. In conclusion, the application of Teams Games Tournament model aided by illustrated pictorial word card media could improve children’s language development amounted to 14,68%.
