Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak melalui penerapan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media kartu ukuran, bentuk dan warna pada anak kelompok A Semester II TK Ganesha Denpasar tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian Ini merupakan Penelitian tindakan kelas(PTK) atau Classroom Action Research. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok A TK Ganesha Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Data kemampuan Kognitif dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode pemberian tugas dengan instrumen lembar observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Analisis data dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil dari siklus I dan siklus II. Pada siklus I Diketahui pencapaian kemampuan kognitif sebesar 32,31% dengan kategori sangat rendah. Sedangkan pada siklus II pencapaian kemampuan kognitif sebesar 82,11% dengan kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media kartu dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak kelompok A Semester II TK Ganesha Denpasar.Kata Kunci : metode pemberian tugas,media kartu,kemampuan kognitif
The Study aims to determine the increase in cognitive abilities of children through the application of the method of administration taks on the size card media, form and color aided children in group A Second Half Ganesha Denpasar kindergaten scholl year 2014/2015. The resach is a class action(PTK). Subjek in this study is a group of kindergaten children in the scholl year 2014/2015 Ganesha Denpasar Cognitive ability data collected using the method of observation to observation sheet instruments. Data were analysed using descripte statiscal analysis of quantitative tecniques. Data analysis was performed by comparing the results of the first circle and circle II. In the first circle of cognitive abilities known to the arhievement of 32,31% with very low category. while the second circle achiement cognitive abilities of 82,11% with a higher cattegory. It can be concluded that by applying the method of adminstration aided task card media can inprove the cognitive abilities of children in group A semester II Tk Ganesha Denpasar.
