Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dalam lingkup perkembangan memecahkan maslah dan berfikir logis.anak setelah penerapan metode discovery berbantuan media alam pada anak usia 5 – 6 tahun di TK varistha Kids Singaraja tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. pengumpulan data menggunakan menggunakan metode observasi. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode discovery berbantuan media alam dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kemampuan kognitif dalam lingkup perkembangan memecahkan masalah dan berfikir logis anak kelompok B TK Varistha Kids Singaraja tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan rerata hasil belajar kemampuan kognitif anak pada siklus I adalah 50% yang berada pada kategori rendahrerata hasil belajar pada siklus II sebesar 89% dengan criteria tinggi, jadi terjadi peningkatan belajar sebesar 39%

Abstack This study aims to determine the increase in the scope of the development of cognitive abilities to solve an issue and think logis.anak after application of the method of discovery-assisted natural media in children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten varistha Kids Singaraja academic year 2016/2017. This research is a classroom action research. data collection using observation methods. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative analysis methods. The results showed that the application of natural media-aided discovery method can improve learning outcomes of cognitive abilities within the scope of the development of problem solving and logical thinking of children in group B TK Varistha Kids Singaraja academic year 2016/2017. It can be seen from the increase in average learning outcomes cognitive abilities of children in the first cycle is 50%, which is in the category rendahrerata learning outcomes in the second cycle of 89% with a high criteria, so there was an increase of learning by 39%
