PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL DAN HASIL BELAJAR PPKN SISWA KELAS XI MIPA 2 DI SMA NEGERI 2 SINGARAJA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial pada pembelajaran PPKn, (2) penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada pelajaran PPKn dan (3) sarana dan prasarana yang digunakan untuk mempraktekkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share pada pelajaran PPKn. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam bentuk siklus yang terdiri dari peencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA 2 di SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja yang berjumlah 30 orang. Objeknya meliputi keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran PPKn dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan tes sedangkan dalam mengolah data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Keterampilan sosial pada siklus I perolehan skor rata-ratanya sebesar 67,43 dengan kategori cukup sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 79,73 dengan kategori tinggi dan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 12,3%. (2) Hasil belajar pada siklus I perolehan skor rata-ratanya sebesar 68,70 termasuk kategori cukup, daya serap siswa 68,70% dan ketuntasan klasikal 50% sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 80,20 yang termasuk kategori baik, daya serap siswa 80,20%, ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 96,67% dan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11,50%. (3) Sarana dan prasarana yang digunakan untuk mempraktekkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share adalah meja, bangku, papan tulis, LCD, literatur yang baik seperti buku penunjang dan buku LKS, kertas kerja, tema yang akan dibahas, RPP, silabus, media pembelajaran seperti powerpoint dan peta konsep, modul, kertas bintang berwarna, nomor undi, instrumen keterampilan sosial, instrumen tes, dan instrumen wawancara.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out several things, such as: (1) the implementation of Think Pair Share can improve the social skill in Civic Education learning process, (2) the implementation of Think Pair Share can improve the learning outcomes in Civic Education lesson, (3) facilities and infrastructures used to apply Think Pair Share as cooperative learning model in Civic Education lesson. This study is a classroom action research which is conducted in the form of cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. This study was conducted within 2 cycles. The subject of this study was 30 students in SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja Grade XI majoring in MIPA 2. Meanwhile, the object involved social skill and learning outcomes of the students who got Think Pair Share learning model treatment. The methods of data collection included observation, interview, and test. While, the methods of data processing that were used included descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative.
The result of this study shows, (1) The social skill on Cycle I got the mean score 67,43 with “Adequate” category, while the mean score on Cycle II had significant improvement 12,3% and become 79,73 with “High” category. (2) The learning outcomes on Cycle I got the mean score 68,70 with “Adequate” category which involved absorption of students 68,60% and classical mastery 50%, meanwhile the mean score of learning outcomes on Cycle II had significant improvement 11,50% become 80,20% with “Well” category which involved absorption of students 80,20% and classical mastery 96,67%. (3) The facilities and infrastructures used to apply Think Pair Share as cooperative learning model were chairs, board, LCD, guidebook, LKS, worksheet, the theme that would be discussed, lesson plan, syllabus, PowerPoint, concept map, module, colored star paper, lot number, social skills instrument, test instrument, and interview instrument.
