Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas atau classroom action research (PTK). Penelitian dengan penerapan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi. Penelitianini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, dimana tiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMKNegeri 1 Denpasar yang berjumlah 46 siswa yang terdiri dari 45 siswa laki-laki dan 1 siswa perempuan. Hasil pelaksanaan siklus I, aktivitas guru dan juga siswayang diperoleh mencapai kualifikasi baik. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat pada hasil ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 78.20% dari jumlah hasil belajar siswa secarakeseluruhan yaitu sebesar 3653.1 terhadap penguasaan materi pelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil observasi siklus II, aktivitas guru dan juga siswa mencapai kualifikasi sangat baik. Hal ini sesuai dengan hasil test pada siklus II, yakni dari 46 siswa mendapatkan peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 89.13%. Hasil evaluasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I menuju siklus II sebesar 10.93%. Maka jika dilihat dari aktivitas siswa, indikator proses sudah berhasil. Dengandemikian dapat diketahui bahwa penerapan Metode Demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Denpasar.

This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 46 students of class XI SMK Negeri 1 Denpasar composed of 45 male students and 1 female student. The results of the implementation of the cycle I, the activities of teachers and students obtained achieved good qualifications. This can be seen in the results of classical completeness of 78.20% of the total number of student learning outcomes, which is 3653.1 towards mastery of the subject matter. Based on the observations of cycle II, the activities of teachers and students achieved very good qualifications. This is to the test results in cycle II, namely from 46 students getting an increase in classical completeness of 89.13%. The results of student learning evaluations increased from cycle I to cycle II by 10.93%. So when viewed from student activities, the process indicator has been successful. Thus it can be seen that the application of the Demonstration Method can improve the learning outcomes of class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Denpasar.
