Pengaruh Promosi Jabatan dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh temuan eksplanatif yang teruji tentang pengaruh (1) promosi jabatan dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, (2) promosi jabatan terhadap disiplin kerja, (3) promosi jabatan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan (4) disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Perhubungan Kab. Buleleng. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif kausal. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Dinas Perhubungan Kab. Buleleng, dan objek penelitian adalah promosi jabatan, disiplin kerja, dan kinerja pegawai. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 82 pegawai. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) wawancara, (2) kuesioner, dan (3) pencatatan dokumen. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari (1) promosi jabatan dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, (2) promosi terhadap disiplin kerja, (3) promosi terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan (4) disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Perhubungan Kab. Buleleng.

This present study was intended to find the tested explanative finding of the impact of (1) the job promotion and working discipline on the performance of employees, (2) the job promotion on the working discipline, (3) the job promotion on the performance of employees, and (4) the working discipline on the performance of employees of transportation department, Buleleng Region. The study was designed to be a casual quantitative study. The subject of the study included all the employees of transportation department, Buleleng Region and the object of the study included the job promotion, working disicipline, and performance employees. The samples of the study totaled 82.. The data were collected using (1) interview, (2) questionnaire, and (3) documentation recording. The data were analyzed using path analysis. The result of the study showed that (1) the job promotion and working discipline positively and significant influence affected the performance of employees, (2) the job promotion positively and significant affected to the working discipline, (3) the job promotion positively and significant affected to the performance of employees, and (4) the working discipline positively and significant affected to the performance employees of transportation department, Buleleng Region.
