PENGARUH KOMPETENSI DAN DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh temuan eksplanatif yang teruji tentang pengaruh (1) kompetensi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) kompetensi terhadap disiplin kerja karyawan, (3) kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan (4) disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Hotel Pita Maha A Tjampuhan Resort & Spa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain penelitian kuantitatif kausal. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Hotel Pita Maha A Tjampuhan Resort & Spa dan objeknya adalah kompetensi, disiplin kerja, dan kinerja karyawan. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 103 orang dan sampel yang diambil berjumlah 82 orang, dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik kuesioner, pencatatan dokumen, dan wawancara kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari (1) kompetensi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) kompetensi terhadap disiplin kerja karyawan, (3) kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan (4) disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Hotel Pita Maha A Tjampuhan Resort & Spa.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to obtain an explanatory findings were tested on the effect of (1) competence and work discipline on the performance of employees, (2) competence on the work discipline of employees, (3) competence on employee performance, and (4) work discipline on employee performance at Pita Maha A Tjampuhan Resort & Spa Hotel. The research design used in this research is causal quantitative. The subjects of this research was all employees in Pita Maha A Tjampuhan Resort & Spa Hotel and object of this research was competence, work discipline, and employee performance. The population of this research amount to 103 people and samples taken amounted to 82 people, used proportional random sampling technique. Data was collected using questionnaires, documents multilation and interviews then was analyzed using path analysis. The results of research showed there were a positive and significant effect of (1) competence and work discipline on the performance of employees, (2) competence on the work discipline of employees, (3) competence on employee performance, and (4) work discipline on employee performance at Pita Maha A Tjampuhan Resort & Spa Hotel.
