This research aimed to (1) describe the design of instructional video development, (2) examine the result’s validity instructional video development; and (3) find out the effectiveness of instructional video development toward Penjasorkes students’ learning outcome at grade X in SMA. This research was research and development by using Hannafin and Peck model. Data collected by using the method of recording documents, questionnaires, and written test. Data collection instruments used were documents recording sheet, questionnaire, and objective tests. The result of the expert evaluation showed that 97,3% in the category of very good. The result of expert design showed that 85,3% in the category of good. The result of expert media showed that 89,3% in the category of good. Individual test result as 95,5 %, small group test result as 98,6%, and each of them were on excellent qualification, also field test as 98,4 % in excellent qualification thus the media was valid to be tested. The calculation of the learning outcome t was greater than t table so that H0 was rejected and H1 accepted. Penjasorkes students’ learning outcome was higher after using media (86) rather than using media (55,66). Thus, the research’s conclusion which conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Negara as instructional video was effective to be used in teaching Penajsorkes at grade X.
