EFEKTIVITAS COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (CBT) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF ESTEEM PADA SISWA KELAS X.IBB SMA NEGERI 4 SINGARAJA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017

Dalam penelitian ini, pendekatan Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) diimplementasikan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan self esteem siswa yang rendah khususnya pada siswa kelas X.IBB SMA negeri 4 Singaraja. Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) merupakan suatu intervensi yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi dan menghilangkan permasalahan berupa tekanan psikologis dan perilaku maladaptif dengan mengubah cara berpikir. Desain penelitian ini adalah “Pretest-Postest, Non-Equivalent Control Group Design” yaitu penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan satu kelompok eksperimen dan satu kelompok kontrol yang beranggotakan masing-masing 6 orang siswa. Pelaksanaan intervensi dilakukan sebanyak 6 kali pertemuan, dengan 1 kali pertemuan untuk melakukan asesmen dan pre-test, 4 kali pertemuan untuk sesi-sesi intervensi, dan 1 kali pertemuan untuk evaluasi dan post-test. Durasi setiap pertemuan kira-kira selama 1-2 jam. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) efektif untuk meningkatkan Self Esteem pada siswa kelas X IBB SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja?. Berdasarkan observasi, wawancara, serta hasil yang didapat dari pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini diproleh nilai thitung = 11,738 dengan df = (n-1) = (6-1) = 5 dengan taraf signifikansi 5% dengan nilai ttabel= 1.943 . Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai thitung> ttabel atau 11,738 > 1,943. Dengan demikian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha yang menyatakan “Cogintive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) efektif untuk meningkatkan self esteem pada siswa kelas X.IBB SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja” diterima.Kata Kunci : Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Self-Esteem
In this study, the approach of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is implemented with the aim of increasing the low self-esteem of students especially in class X.IBB SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja. Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is an intervention that aims to reduce and eliminate the problem of psychological pressure and maladaptive behavior by changing the way of thinking. The design of this study was "Pretest-Postest, Non-Equivalent Control Group Design" which was an experimental quasi experiment using one experimental group and one control group consisting of 6 students each. Interventions were conducted 6 times, with 1 meeting for assessment and pre-test, 4 meetings for the intervention sessions, and 1 meeting for evaluation and post test. The duration of each meeting is approximately 1-2 hours. Problem formulation in this research is Does Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) effective to improve Self Esteem in class X IBB SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja? Based on observations, interviews, and results obtained from testing the hypothesis of this study diproleh tcount = 11.738 with df = (n-1) = (6-1) = 5 with a significance level of 5% with the value ttabel = 1.943. Based on these results can be concluded that the value of t arithmetic> ttable or 11.738> 1943. Thus it can be concluded that Ha which states "Cogintive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) effective to increase self-esteem in class X. IBB SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja" accepted.
