EFEKTIVITAS KONSELING RASIONAL EMOTIF DENGAN TEKNIK ASSERTIVE ADAPTIVE DAN TEKNIK BERMAIN PERAN UNTUK MENGURANGI KECEMASAN BERBICARA DI DEPAN KELAS PADA SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 2 SINGARAJA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas konseling rasional emotif dengan teknik assertive adaptive dan teknik bermain peran untuk mengurangi kecemasan berbicara di depan kelas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi exsperiment dengan rancangan Pretest-Posttest Non Equivalen Control Group Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data kecemasan berbicara di depan kelas ini dianalisis dengan uji t (t-test). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat efektivitas konseling rasional emotif terhadap siswa yang mengikuti teknik assertif adaptive untuk mengurangi kecemasan berbicara di depan kelas pada siswa, didapat nilai t hitung sebesar 18,79 (2) terdapat efektivitas konseling rasional emotif terhadap siswa yang mengikuti teknik bermain peran untuk mengurangi kecemasan berbicara di depan kelas pada siswa,didapat nilai t hitung sebesar 27,31 (3) terdapat perbedaan penurunan kecemasan pada siswa yang mendapat treatment assertive adaptive dibandingkan dengan treatment bermain peran untuk mengurangi kecemasan berbicara di depan kelas pada siswa di dapat t hitung sebesar 5,99.Kata Kunci : Kata Kunci: Konseling rasional emotif, teknik assertive adaptive, teknik bermain peran
The aims of this research are to analyze the effectiveness of emotional rational counseling model with assertive adaptive techniques and role playing techniques to reduce anxiety of speaking in front of the class. This type of research is quasi experiment with Pretest-Posttest Control Non Equivalent Group Design. This research using purposive sampling technique. The anxiety of speaking in front of the class data are tested using t-test.Based on the results of the study showed that: (1) there is effectiveness of emotional rational counseling to students who follow adaptive assertion technique got t value equal to 18.79 (2) there is effectiveness of emotional rational counseling to student who follow role playing technique got t value equal to 27.31 (3) there is a difference of decrease on anxiety in students who received treatment of assertive adaptive compared with the treatment of role playing t count of 5.99.
