PENERAPAN KONSELING TRAIT DAN FACTOR UNTUK MEMANTAPKAN DIRI DALAM PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN KARIR PADA SISWA KELAS XI IPS SMA N 1 TEGALLALANG 2013/2014

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konseling Trait and Factor untuk memantapkan diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karir pada siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tegallalang tahun ajaran 2013/2014.Penelitian tindakan Bimbingan Konselingdilaksanakan terhadap permasalahan mengenai kematangan/kemantapan arah pilihan karir siswa.Datadi kembangkan dengan observasi dan kuesioner.Data di analisisdengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian baik secara kelompok maupun individu menunjukkan bahwa, Konseling Trait and Factor memberi konstribusi terhadap pemilihan arah kematangan karir siswa, ini terlihat dari perubahan diri konseli pada tahap I memberikonstibusi sebesar15,64% yaitu dari 58,17%, pada kondisi awal menjadi 73.81% pada siklus I, dan pada tahap II memberi konstribusi sebesar10,71% dari 73,81% pada kondisi kedua menjadi 84.53%, kategori inimerupakan kategori tinggi. Ini menunjukkan bahwa layanan konseling trait and factor dapat meningkatkan kematangan karir siswa.Berdasarkan hasil analisis itu disarankan, kepada siswa agar dapat mengembangkan tingkat kematangan karirnya baikdi sekolah maupun di lingkungan keluarga.Kepada guru pembimbing dapat menggunakan layanan konseling Trait and Factor untuk membantu siswa yang mengalami masalah dengan keputusan karir di SMA.Kata Kunci : Kata kunci : Trait and Factor, kematangan/kemantapan pilihan karir.
The implementation of trait and factor counseling to improve self-steady in taking the carrier decision in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tegalalang in academic year 2013/2014. The aim of this classroom action research is to know the counseling Trait and Factor effect toward student whose class is XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tegalalang in taking their carrier decision. This study was conducted on students’ self-steady of carrier option. The data was developed by observation and questionnaire. The data was analyzed descriptively. The result of study whether group or individually showed that the trait and factor counseling gave contribution toward students’ self-steady. It can be seen from self improvement that is occurred in the first step about 15.64% which is at first condition is about 58.17% became 73.81%. In cycle II improved about 10.71% from 73.81% to 84.53% and categorized high. It means trait and factor counseling service can improve the students’ self-steady in carrier option. Based on the evaluation it can be suggested that, for the students, hopefully they can improve their self-steady of carrier in school or even in their environment. For the advisor, he/she can use trait and factor counseling service to help the students who have problem in choosing their major in SMA.
