Hubungan antara Regulasi Emosi dan Perilaku Agresif pada Siswa Broken Home

This research was conducted based on the phenomenon at MTs Al Asror which showed that the level of aggressive behavior of broken home students was in the high category. On the other hand, the level of emotional regulation of broken home students was in the high category. The research design used was ex-post facto, with the sample used amounted to 74 of 579 student population with the sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. The data collection tools used a scale of emotional regulation and a scale of aggressive behavior. The validity of the research instrument used construct validity and its reliability used the Cronbach Alpha formula. The analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative analysis and inferential statistical analysis with the product moment correlation technique. The results of the quantitative descriptive analysis showed that the level of aggressive behavior of broken home students was in the medium category and the level of emotional regulation was in the low category. The results of inferential statistical analysis showed a negative and significant relationship between emotional regulation and aggressive behavior.

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan fenomena di MTs Al Asror yang menunjukkan bahwa tingkat perilaku agresif siswa broken home berada pada kategori tinggi. Di sisi lain, tingkat regulasi emosi siswa broken home berada pada kategori tinggi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex-post facto, dengan sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 74 dari 579 populasi siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan skala regulasi emosi dan skala perilaku agresif. Validitas instrumen penelitian menggunakan validitas konstruk dan reliabilitasnya menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan teknik korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis deskriptif kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa tingkat perilaku agresif siswa broken home berada pada kategori sedang dan tingkat pengaturan emosi berada pada kategori rendah. Hasil analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan antara regulasi emosi dengan perilaku agresif.
