EFEKTIVITAS TEORI KARIER HOLLAND MELALUI LAYANAN INFORMASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN DIRI TERHADAP KESIAPAN KERJA SISWA

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Quasi Experimental Design untuk mengetahui efektivitas teori karier Holland melalui layanan informasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman diri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 2 kelas jurusan Akomodasi Perhotelan.Satu kelas sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan satu kelas sebagai kelompok kontrol, tiap kelas berjumlah 37 orang.Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner.Prosedur penelitian dilakukan dalam 3 tahap.Tahap pertama adalah tahap persiapan, tahap kedua adalah tahap pelaksanaan dan yang terakhir adalah tahap pengakhiran. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman diri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa meningkat. Hal ini dapat dilihat berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji–t, diperoleh thitung sebesar 4,355, sedangkan ttabel dengan taraf signifikansi 5% dan db = 72 adalah 1,684. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (thitung> ttabel) sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan efektivitas teori karier Holland melalui layanan informasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman diri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswaKata Kunci : teori karir holland, layanan informasi, pemahaman diri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa.
This study is an experimental research design with Quasi Experimental Design to examine the effectiveness of Holland's career theory to improve the information service through self-understanding of the students' work readiness. The samples in this study were 2 class Accommodation Hospitality majors. One class as experimental group and the class as a control group, 37 people per class. Data collection method used was a questionnaire. Research procedures performed in 3 stages. The first stage is the preparation stage, the second stage is the implementation stage and the final stage is termination. Research data shows that the self-understanding of the job readiness of students increased. This can be seen by the results of hypothesis testing are performed using t-test, obtained t of 4.355, while ttable with a significance level of 5% and db=72 is1.684. This suggests that tcount greater than ttable(t count>t table) so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that there are differences in the effectiveness of Holland's career theory to improve the information service through self-understanding of the students' work readiness.
