EFEKTIVITAS KONSELING RASIONAL EMOTIF TEKNIK FORMULA ABC DAN TEKNIK ASERTIF ADAPTIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF-DISCLOSURE SISWA KELAS X JASA BOGA SMK NEGERI 2 SINGARAJA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan efektivitas konseling rasional emotif teknik Formula ABC dengan konseling rasional emotif teknik Asertif Adaptif untuk meningkatan Self-Disclosure siswa kelas X Jasa Boga SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian Single Factor Independent Groups Design. Sampel kelas diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 20 orang siswa. Data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini adalah data Self-Disclosure siswa yang rendah. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner Self-Disclosure. Kuesioner Self-Disclosure yang diberikan berjumlah 30 item. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan independent t-test. Data yang dianalisis menggunakan independent t-test adalah data gain skor ternormalisasi. Semua pengujian hipotesis dilakukan pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa konseling rasional emotif teknik Formula ABC dan konseling rasional emotif teknik Asertif Adaptif efektif untuk meningkatkan Self-Disclosure siswa. Namun kelompok teknik Formula ABC memiliki skor rata-rata Self-Disclosure lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok teknik Asertif Adaptif. Rata-rata gain skor ternormalisasi kelompok teknik Formula ABC sebesar 0,7920. Sedangkan rata-rata gain skor ternormalisasi kelompok teknik Asertif Adaptif sebesar 0,7350. Hasil analisis uji hipotesis penelitian menunjukkan (t = 5,250; p < 0,05), maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berbunyi “Terdapat perbedaan efektivitas antara konseling rasional emotif teknik Formula ABC dengan konseling rasional emotif teknik Asertif Adaptif untuk meningkatkan Self-Disclosure siswa.

This study aimed to analyse the difference of the effectiveness between counselling rational emotive Formula ABC technique and Assertive Adaptive technique to improve the Self Disclosure of the students in class X Jasa Boga in SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja. This study was an experimental study with Single Factor Independent Groups Design as the research design. The class samples were selected by using purposive sampling. The samples of this study consisted of 20 students. The data needed in this study were the data of the students having low Self Disclosure. The Self Disclosure questionnaire given consisted of 30 items. The data were analysed by using descriptive statistics and independent t-test. The data analysed by using independent t-test were the data of gain score normalized. The hypothesis test was conducted at the significant level of 5%. Based on the result of the analysis, it was found that the counselling rational emotive Formula ABC technique and Assertive Adaptive technique were effective to improve the Self Disclosure of the students. But the group getting Formula ABC technique had higher Self Disclosure of the students’ mean score than other group getting Assertive Adaptive technique. The average of the normalized gain score of the group getting Formula ABC technique was 0,7920. Meanwhile the average of the normalized gain score of the group getting Assertive Adaptive technique was 0,7350.
