PENERAPAN KONSELING RASIONAL EMOTIF BEHAVIORAL DENGAN TEKNIK SELF-INSTRUCTION TRAINING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN ACADEMIC SELF-EFFICACY SISWA KELAS XI B AKUNTANSI SMK NEGERI 1 SINGARAJA

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan academic self-efficacy siswa kelas XI B Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja setelah diberikan konseling rasional emotif behavioral dengan teknik self-instruction training. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan dalam bimbingan konseling (Action Research in Counseling). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI B Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Singarajayang berjumlah 39 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bersiklus sampai kriteria keberhasilan tercapai. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan (identifikasi, diagnosa, prognosa), tindakan (konseling/treatment), evaluasi, dan refleksi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner sebagai metode utama; buku harian, observasi, dan wawancara sebagai metode pendukung. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif (persentase).Temuan penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan academic self-efficacysiswa setelah diberikan konseling rasional emotif behavioral dengan teknik self-instruction training. Peningkatan academic self-efficacysiswa dari kondisi awal rata-rata 80,42% menjadi 86,08% pada siklus I dan dari siklus I rata-rata 86,08% menjadi 89% pada siklus II. Persentase peningkatan rata-rata dari data kondisi awal ke siklus I sebesar 5,67% dan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 3,35%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan konseling rasional emotif behavioral dengan teknik self-instruction training dapat meningkatkan academic self-efficacy siswa kelas XI B Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja.Kata Kunci : konseling rasional emotif behavioral, self-instruction training, academic self-efficacy
The purpose of this research was determined the improvementof student’s academic self-efficacy classXI B Akuntansi at SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja after given rational emotive behavior counseling with self-instruction training technique. This research was an action research in counseling. The subject of this research was 39 students of XI B Akuntansi class at SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja.This research was designed in cycles until the achievement target was reached. Every cycles contain planning phase (identification, diagnosis, and prognosis), action (counseling/treatment), evaluation, and reflection. Data collected methods that used of this research was questionnaire as the primary method; logsheet, observation and interview as complement methods. Data was analyzed with descriptive statistic.The result of this research show the improvement of student’s academic self-efficacy occur after give rational emotive behavior counseling with self-instruction training technique. The improvement of student’s academic self- efficacy from average 80,42% in beginning condition to 86,08% in first cycle and from average 86,08% in first cycle to 89% in second cycle. The average improvement percentage from beginning condition to first cycle was 5,67% and from first cycle to second cycle was 3,35%. This condition show that implementation of rational emotive behavior counseling with self-instruction training technique able to increase the student’s academic self-efficacy of XI B Akuntansi at SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja.
