PENERAPAN KONSELING RASIONAL EMOTIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERSEPSI POSITIF SISWA TERHADAP GURU MATEMATIKA DI KELAS VII 13 SMP N 2 SINGARAJA

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan (Action Research). Tujuan dari penelitian tindakan ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan Persepsi Positif Siswa Terhadap Guru Matematika setelah diberikan konseling rasional emotif. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas VII 13 SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja yang berjumlah 5 orang siswa sebagai subjek penelitian dan ke-5 siswa tersebut diberikan perlakuan melalui konseling rasional emotif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, siklus yang pertama diperoleh peningkatan 8,5% sampai dengan 22% namun hanya 3 orang siswa yang mencapai kriteria diatas 65%, sedangkan 2 orang siswa belum mencapai peningkatan diatas 65%. Sehingga diadakan siklus kedua, siklus ke-2 diperoleh peningkatan 16% sehingga ke-2 orang siswa tersebut mencapai peningkatan diatas 65%. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa upaya meningkatkan Persepsi Positif Siswa Terhadap Guru Matematika dengan menggunakan konseling rasional emotif pada siswa kelas VII 13 SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja ada perubahan persepsi siswa yang lebih baik.Kata Kunci : Konseling rasional emotif, Persepsi Positif Siswa, Guru Matematika
This research is an action research. This action research aimed at finding out the improvement of students positif perception towards mathematics teacher after given rational emotive counseling. This reasearh involved the students grade VII 13 SMP N 2 Singaraja that consisted of five students as research subject and the five students were handled by rational emotive counseling. This research was held in two cycles. In the firs cycle could reach improvement 8,5 percents to 22 percents but only three students could reach criteria up to 65percents. However two students hadn’t reached improvement up to 65 percents yet. So carried out the second cycle. In the second cycle gained improvements 16 percents. So that the two students gained improvement up to 65 percents. The analysis result indicated that the effort of rising students positif perception towards mathematics teacher by applying rational emotif. Influenced the change of students better perception.
