PENERAPAN KONSELING BEHAVIORAL DENGAN TEKNIK DESENSITISASI SISTEMATIS UNTUK MEMINIMALISASI KECEMASAN SISWA DALAM MENYAMPAIKAN PENDAPAT KELAS VIII 10 SMP NEGERI 2 SINGARAJA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan bimbingan konseling yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan konseling behavioral dengan teknik desensitisasi sistematis untuk meminimalisasi kecemasan dalam menyampaikan pendapat para siswa kelas VIII 10 SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner sedangkan observasi sebagai metode pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari data awal diperoleh 10 siswa yang mengalami kecemasan dalam menyampaikan pendapat dengan rata-rata sebesar 82,80%. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Pada siklus I terjadi penurunan dengan rata-rata sebesar 15,34% dengan hasil 6 orang siswa yang dikategorikan rendah, 1 orang siswa dikategorikan sangat rendah dan 3 orang siswa yang belum mencapai kriteria di bawah 65% pada siklus I . Pada siklus II 3 orang yang belum mencapai kriteria di bawah 65% pada siklus I,mengalami penurunan dengan rata-rata penurunan sebesar 13,32%. Artinya siswa sudah bisa menurunkan kecemasan dalam menyampaikan perdapat. Data tersebut diperkuat dari hasil pengamatan perubahan perilaku siswa yang diisi oleh peneliti pada setiap siklusnya. Sihingga penerapan konseling behavioral dengan teknik desensitisasi untuk meminimalisasi kecemasan siswa dalam menyampaikan pendapat kelas VIII 10 di SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 efektif.Kata Kunci : Kata kunci : konseling behavioral, desensitisasi sistematis, kecemasan dalam menyampaikan pendapat
his research is aimed at counseling measures to determine the application of behavioral counseling with systematic desensitization techniques to minimize anxiety in the expression of the 10 eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja school year 2013/2014. The data collection method used was a questionnaire while the observation as a method of support. The results showed preliminary data obtained from the 10 students who experience anxiety in expression with an average of 82.80%. This study was conducted in two cycles. In the first cycle decreased by an average of 15.34% with the results of 6 students were categorized as low, 1 students categorized as very low and 3 students who have not reached the criteria under 65% in the first cycle. In the second cycle 3 people who have not reached the criteria under 65% in the first cycle, has decreased by an average decrease of 13.32%. This means that students are able to reduce anxiety in delivering perdapat. The data confirmed the observations of changes in student behavior filled out by researchers at each cycle.
