PENERAPAN KONSELING BEHAVIORAL DENGAN TEKNIK SELF MANAGEMENT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KONSEP DIRI SISWA KELAS VIII B3 SMP NEGERI 4 SINGARAJA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektikan penerapan konseling behavioral dengan teknik self management untuk meningkatkan konsep diri siswa kelas VIII B3 di SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. Hipotesis penelitian ini, yaitu jika konseling behavioral dengan teknik self management diterapkan dengan baik, maka konsep diri pada siswa dapat ditingkatkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan Konseling. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B3 yang berjumlah 26 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik self management melalui metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dan observasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dan setiap siklus terdiri dari identifikasi, diagnosa, prognosa, konseling, evaluasi dan tahap refleksi. Treatment diberikan sebanyak 4 kali pada siklus I dan siklus II. Ketika siswa memenuhi kriteria secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif, maka siswa telah tuntas pada siklus I dan tidak perlu mendapatkan treatment di siklus II. Pencapaian peningkatan konsep diri pada siswa di siklus I, yaitu dengan hasil : 3,80% kategori sangat tinggi, 80,77% kategori tinggi, 3,80% kategori sedang, 11,54% kategori rendah dan 0% kategori sangat rendah. Pencapaian peningkatan konsep diri pada siklus II, yaitu dengan hasil : 76,92% kategori sangat tinggi, 23,08% kategori tinggi, 0% kategori sedang, 0% kategori rendah dan 0% kategori sangat rendah. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik self-management efektif untuk meningkatkan konsep diri siswa.Kata Kunci : teori konseling behavioral, self-management , konsep diri
This Research aim to to know effectiveness of applying of behavioral konseling with technique of self management to increase conception class student self of VIII B3 in SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. This Hypothesis Research, that is if behavioral counseling with technique of self management applied better, hence self concept at student can be improved. This Research type is Research Of Action Tuition of Counseling. This subjek Research is class student of VIII B3 amounting to 26 people. This research use technique of self management through data collecting method which is used in this research is observation and kuesioner. This research is executed in two cycle, and each;every cycle consist of to identify, diagnosa, prognosa, konseling, phase and evaluation of refleksi. Treatment given by counted 4 times at cycle of I and cycle of II. When student fulfill criterion quantitatively and qualitative, hence student have complete at cycle of I and needn't get treatment in cycle of II. Attainment of[is make-up of self concept at student in cycle of I, that is with result : 3,80% category very high, 80,77% high category, 3,80% category is,% low category and 0% very low category. Attainment of is make-up of self concept at cycle of II, that is with result : 76,92% category very high, 23,08% high category, 0% category is,% low category and 0% very low category. This finding indicate that applying of technique of self-management effective to increase conception student self.
