PENERAPAN KONSELING KOGNITIF SOSIAL DENGAN TEKNIK ROLE PLAYING UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN SIKAP EMPATI PADA SISWA KELAS XI IPS 1 SMA NEGERI 3 SINGARAJA TAHUN AJARAN 2013/2014

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan teori kognitif sosial dengan teknik role playing untuk mengembangkan sikap empati pada siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan bimbingan dan konseling (Action Reseach In Counseling). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari enam tahapan yaitu : (a) identifikasi, (b) diagnosis, (c) prognosis, (d) konseling/treatment, (e) evaluasi, (f) refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 8 orang siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pra siklus 90,9 %. Penelitian pada siklus I diperoleh hasil rata-rata capain 115,3 % dengan kategori tinggi dan itu berarti terjadi peningkatan 24,4 %. Namun dari pelaksanaan siklus I terdapat 3 orang yang masih memiliki sikap empati rendah dan dilanjutkan ke siklus II. Pada siklus II diperoleh hasil rata-rata pencapaian 124,5 termasuk kategori sangat tinggi dan terjadi peningkatan 9,2 %. Dengan demikaian dapat disimpulkan, bahwa penerapan teori kognitif sosial dengan teknik role playing terbukti efektif digunakan untuk mengembangkan sikap empati siswa.Kata Kunci : Kognitif sosial, role playing, empati
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of social cognitive theory with role playing techniques to develop empathy in class XI IPS 1 SMA 3 Singaraja Academic Year 2013/2014. This type of research is an action research guidance and counseling (Action Reseach In Counseling). This study was conducted in two cycles consisting of six stages, namely: (a) identification, (b) diagnosis, (c) prognosis, (d) counseling / treatment, (e) evaluation, (f) reflection. The subjects of this study were 8 students of class XI IPS 1 SMA 3 Singaraja. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The results showed 90.9% of pre cycle. Research on cycle I gained an average yield of 115.3% Capain with high category and that means an increase of 24.4%. However, from the implementation of the first cycle, there are 3 people who still have low empathy and proceed to the second cycle. In the second cycle obtained an average yield of 124.5 attainment categorized as very high and an increase of 9.2%. With demikaian can be concluded, that the application of social cognitive theory with techniques proven effective role playing is used to develop students' empathy.
