PENERAPAN KONSELING BEHAVIORAL DENGAN TEKNIK PENGUATAN POSITIF SEBAGAI UPAYA UNTUK MEMINIMALISASI PERILAKU MEMBOLOS PADA SISWA KELAS X.1 SMA NEGERI 1 SAWAN TAHUN AJARAN 2013/2014

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan bimbingan konseling (Action Research In Counseling) dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelaksanaan konseling behavioral dengan teknik penguatan positif untuk meminimalisasi perilaku membolos. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas X.1 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan yang berjumlah 3 orang siswa dari 27 orang siswa yang menunjukkan perilaku membolos tinggi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pencatatan dokumen dari daftar hadir di kelas, wawancara dengan wali kelas dan guru bidang studi serta observasi di dalam maupun di luar kelas. Data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan perilaku membolos sesudah diberikan tindakan. Penurunan perilaku membolos siswa dipantau dari perubahan kehadiran di sekolah sangat meningkat yang didukung dari daftar hadir di kelas yaitu dari jumlah membolos 3x menjadi 1x, jumlah membolos 4x menjadi 1x dan jumlah membolos 5x menjadi 3x pada siklus I dan terjadi penurunan yang sangat signifikan dari ketiga konseli pada siklus II. Dari hasil observasi dan keterangan dari teman, wali kelas, dan guru bidang studi menyatakan bahwa konseli sudah banyak menunjukkan perubahan perilaku ke arah positif. Ini membuktikan bahwa konseling behavioral dengan teknik penguatan positif efektif untuk meminimalisasi perilaku membolos.Kata Kunci : Konseling Behavioral, Penguatan Positif, Membolos
This research is a counseling action (Action Research in Counseling) in order to determine the effectiveness of behavioral counseling with positive reinforcement techniques to minimize the truant behavior. The study was conducted in two cycles of cycle I and cycle II. Subjects in the study were students in School 1 class X.1 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan totaling 3 students from the 27 students who demonstrate high truant behavior. Data collection methods used are the recording of documents of attendance in classes, interviews with the class teacher and subject teachers and observation inside and outside the classroom. File were analyzed with descriptive analysis. The results showed a decrease in truant behavior after the given action. Decrease in truant students' behavior was monitored from changes greatly increased school attendance supported from the list that is present in the class of number ditching into 3x to 1x, 4x to 1x and 5x to 3x the amount in the first cycle and a very significant decline from the third counselee on the second cycle. From the observations and information from friends, homeroom and subject teachers stated that the counselee has many showed positive behavioral changes direction. This proves that behavioral counseling with effective positive reinforcement techniques to minimize the truant behavior.
