PENERAPAN KONSELING KELOMPOK MODEL RASIONAL EMOTIF DENGAN TEKNIK PEMBANTAHAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PADA SISWA KELAS XII IS 2 SMA NEGERI 1 SAWAN TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan bimbingan konseling (Action Research In Counseling) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, yaitu siklus I dan siklus II dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas konseling kelompok model rasional emotif dengan teknik pembantahan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar pada siswa kelas XII IS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII IS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan yang berjumlah 7 orang dari 22 orang siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pedoman observasi dan kuesioner. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan cara membandingkan persentase yang dicapai sebelum dan sesudah diadakan konseling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar setelah diberikan konseling kelompok model rasional emotif dengan teknik pembantahan. Peningkatan motivasi belajar dilihat dari pencapaian motivasi belajar yaitu dari skor rata-rata 55% menjadi 66,28% pada siklus I dan peningkatan skor rata-rata 66,28% menjadi 84,14% pada siklus II. Ketujuh siswa yang mengikuti konseling kelompok telah menunjukkan skor motivasi belajar ≥ 65%. Ini membuktikan bahwa konseling kelompok model rasional emotif dengan teknik pembantahan efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.Kata Kunci : Rasional Emotif, Pembantahan, Motivasi Belajar
This research is a counseling action (Action Research in Counseling) were conducted in two cycles, the first cycle and second cycle in order to determine the effectiveness of rational emotive model of group counseling with exceptionable techniques to increase motivation to learn in class XII IS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan. Subjects in this study were students of class XII IS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawan, amounting to 7 people of 22 students. File collection methods used were observation and questionnaires. File were analyzed descriptively by comparing the achieved percentage held before and after counseling. The results showed an increase in motivation to learn after a given group counseling model of rational emotive techniques disproof. Seen an increase in learning motivation of achievement motivation to learn is from the average score of 55% to 66.28% in the first cycle and an increase in the average score of 66.28% to 84.14% in the second cycle. The seventh student counseling groups have demonstrated the motivation to learn a score ≥ 65%. This proves that the model of rational emotive counseling group with a refutation technique effectively increases student motivation.
