PENERAPAN MODEL KONSELING BEHAVIORAL DENGAN TEHNIK POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII A DI SMP NEGERI 3 SINGARAJA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan konseling behavioral dengan teknik positive reinforcement untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan Konseling. Prosedur penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap identifikasi, diagnosis, prognosis,konseling/treatment, evaluasi/follow up, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 4 orang siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, observasi dan wawancara. Data yang diperoleh dari responden diolah dengan analisis deskriptif, Hasil penelitian dari pra siklus terhadap 4 orang siswa yang mengalami motivasi belajar rendah dalam proses pembelajaran sebesar 43,25% dengan kategori Rendah. Pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan dengan rata-rata sebesar 61,25%% dengan hasil 2 orang siswa yang dikategorikan Tinggi dan 2 orang siswa yang dikategorikan Rendah sehingga perlu melanjutkan treatmen pada siklus II. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan dengan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 70,75% dengan kategori Tinggi. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan konseling behavioral teknik positive reinforcement dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswaKata Kunci : : Konseling Behavioral, Positive Reinforcement, Motivasi Belajar
This study aims to determine the application of behavioral counseling with positive reinforcement techniques to increase students' motivation Junior High School eighth grade A 3 Singaraja school year 2013/2014. Type of research is action research Counseling. Research procedures conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of phase identification, diagnosis, prognosis, counseling / treatment, evaluation / follow-up, and reflection. The subjects were 4 A class VIII student of SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja. Data collection methods used were questionnaires, observation and interviews. Data obtained from respondents processed with descriptive analysis, The results of the pre-cycle to 4 students with low learning motivation in the learning process by 43.25% with Low category. In the first cycle increased by an average of 61.25 %% with the results of the students were categorized 2 High and 2 students were categorized as Low so it is necessary to continue treatments on the second cycle. In the second cycle increased by an average increase of 70.75% with the High category. It is proved that the application of positive reinforcement behavioral counseling techniques can increase students' motivation
